Mayor Eric Adams is ticked off and begging for a meeting with President Donald Trump after $80 million in FEMA grants went missing. Mayor Adams will have to settle for meeting with Tom Homan instead. Mayor Adams says “It’s unfortunate people in this administration left us with a huge price tag.” Except, some people would say that price tag came during the Joe Biden administration who flooded the country with migrants. This is just Donald Trump’s way of fixing things. Fox 5 reported:
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) revoked more than $80 million in funding from New York City over it’s handling of migrants.
City Comptroller Brad Lander says the money went missing overnight, and his office was unaware the federal government had access to the city’s bank account.
FEMA’s acting administrator said in court documents filed Tuesday that the money was being clawed back over concerns about “illegal activities” at a hotel.
