Steve Witkoff and Kelly Loeffler, co-chairs of the inaugural committee, have publicly emphasized the significance of the occasion. They remarked that the celebrations will commemorate Trump’s historic return to the White House and the robust support for his “America First” agenda. Witkoff, who is expected to serve as Trump’s envoy to the Middle East, and Loeffler, nominated to lead the Small Business Administration, have highlighted unity as a central theme of the inauguration.

On the day of the inauguration, attendees can look forward to a star-studded musical lineup, featuring performances by country artist Lee Greenwood and opera singer Christopher Macchio, both of whom are favorites of Trump. Additionally, country music icon Carrie Underwood will perform “America the Beautiful” just prior to Trump taking the oath of office. Underwood, who gained fame as the winner of American Idol in 2005, expressed her appreciation for the opportunity, underscoring the importance of unity and a forward-looking perspective.

“I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the inauguration,” Underwood stated. “I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together.”

While the celebratory atmosphere prevails, Underwood’s involvement has elicited mixed reactions on social media. Some individuals have expressed their opinions.

The inauguration will include an invocation delivered by Franklin Graham, the son of the late Reverend Billy Graham, alongside New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan. The ceremony will conclude with a performance of the National Anthem by Christopher Macchio, a rendition expected to embody the solemnity and tradition of the event.

On the following day, Trump will participate in a National Prayer Service, signifying his first complete day in office.

The entertainment lineup and schedule have sparked extensive debate, eliciting a range of responses from enthusiastic support to pointed criticism. We invite you to share your perspectives on the planned events and performances, and to engage with others regarding this momentous occasion.
