An Ohio teacher who resigned after refusing to adhere to the preferred pronouns is set to receive a settlement of $450,000 from her school district. Vivian Geraghty sued the Jackson Local School District in 2022, represented by the Alliance Defending Freedom, a legal group known for defending various conservative causes.Geraghty’s lawsuit claimed the school district had violated her First Amendment rights when she was told to resign from a middle school language arts teaching position that she previously held.
