Speaking on Wednesday, November 6, after the presidential election that went hugely in former President Donald Trump’s favor, MSNBC co-host Joe Scarborough of “Morning Joe” said, on that program, that really Vice President Kamala Harris’s lost the election because many black and hispanic men have “race issues” and “misogyny.”

Scarborough’s comments on the matter were sparked by Reverend and woke political commentator Al Sharpton, who blamed “racism and gender bias” for Kamala’s loss and said that American needs not to “heal,” but rather to confront the supposed racism head-on by bringing it “front and center.”

He said, commenting on that aspect of Kamala’s election loss, “We cannot ignore that there’s still a lot of racism and gender bias in this country. I think for us to ignore that and not try to bring that front and center so we can heal that would mean that we would end up in the same place.”

Continuing, Sharpton claimed that it was Kamala’s interracial marriage to blame for her loss, ignoring that Vance is married to an Indian woman. He said, “Kamala Harris is a woman of color in an interracial marriage running as a woman to be the head of state. that is something a lot of Americans are not ready to deal with.”

Responding, Scarborough told him that black men and hispanic men are biased against Kamala because she is a woman as well. He said, “It is not just misogyny from white men, it’s misogyny from black men, things we have all been talking about, who do not want a woman leading them. It might be race issues with hispanics, they don’t want a black woman as President of the United States.”

Continuing on that same point, Scarborough claimed, You know, the Democratic Party, I’ve always found when you’re sitting around talking, they love to just sort of Balkanize everybody into separate groups saying white women don’t like black. No, it is time for the democrats to say okay, and you and I have talked about this before. a lot of hispanic voters have problems with black candidates.”

Sharpton fired back, “Right and with other hispanics. You’ve got some that don’t like each other. And some of the most misogynist things I heard in the get out the vote tour came from black, I mean misogynist things. You’re absolutely right it’s not simplistic and we have to have real honest conversations.”

Scarborough also, on Wednesday’s “Morning Joe” broadcast, described the outcome of the election as “stunning” and said, “I’ve got to say, this is the biggest red wave I’ve seen since Ronald Reagan’s 49 state victory in 1984. It seems every Republican across the country improved.”

Continuing, he argued that America is farther to the right side of the political spectrum than it has been in generations, saying, “America, first of all, is far more to the Right than any time in our lifetimes. Even going back to the Reagan years. And Donald Trump won in dominating fashion.”
