The Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park, a cherished venue for motocross enthusiasts, is shutting down permanently. This decision comes in the wake of a tragic incident that claimed the life of a 9-year-old girl in June.
in a statement on their Facebook page, the park’s owners expressed their sorrow. The statement read, “It is with great sadness that we announce the closing of LEMX. Due to a lawsuit from a tragic accident that occurred in June, the property owner has terminated our agreement as they are being brought into it as well.”
The Park’s official noted that it was in the best interest of the property owner to close the track. They acknowledged the difficulties they faced but shared that operating the venue had been a rewarding experience.
