Vice President Kamala Harris’s Houston rally recently “descended into chaos” as she was continually heckled and booed by attendees of the event in the deep red state. Despite her efforts to calm down the unruly crowd, Harris was unsuccessful as she was perpetually booed and yelled at by disgruntled protestors.
Footage of her rally shows Harris being interrupted by protestors as she was speaking. Firing back at the disruption, the vice president said, “You know what, just send them to that small rally down the street,” appearing to be visibly angry. The footage cut to another moment from the event, where loud booing and yelling could be heard from the crowd as Harris tried to rally support from the crowd.
Conservative commentator Collin Rugg shared the clip to X”Kamala Harris’ rally in Houston, Texas descends into chaos as she fails to control the rally attendees. Boos and yelling were heard at the rally as Harris failed to calm down the rowdy crowd. It’s unclear at the moment what exactly is going on,” he wrote. Other users commented on the chaotic Harris rally in the comments section.
Conservative comedian and internet personality Alex Stein shared other footage from the rally, claiming that the entire event was hectic, where Harris faced backlash all night. “People were heckling Kamala like crazy all night…the secret service was stressed out,” he said. “Kamala Harris can’t even handle a rally in Houston. If she can’t control her own supporters, how can she expect to lead the country? Chaos seems to be the only constant in her political career,” another person wrote.
A native Texan weighed in, stressing that the vice president and her woke agenda are not welcome in the conservative state. “We don’t want her here in Texas!! We don’t even want Beyoncé, but she’s from here. Texas is not going blue!! No matter how many people from California move here and try to make it turn blue, it’s not happening!! But, it is a little too close for me! Keep Texas Red!” they wrote.
Another user in the comments section listed out a variety of actions and stances Harris has taken which have sparked criticism. “Mocking Christians in the Christian country did not go well. Calling Trump, Hitler, did not go well. Calling Trump unstable did not go well. Lying that Trump would enforce abortion ban did not go well,” they began.
The post continued to list a litany of other falsehoods touted by Vice President Harris. “Lying that Trump would turn against Americans using military force did not go well. Lying that Trump would increase tax for working class people did not go well. Lying that Trump is responsible for the border crisis did not go well. Lying to the Helene and Milton victims did not go well. Using black communities did not go well. Not putting Americans first did not go well. The list is endless….” they posted.
