Loni Willison was a celebrity only a few years ago. Besides her work as a model, the 37-year-old woman also famously married Bay Watch star, Jeremy Jackson from 2012 to 2014. However, since their divorce, Willison has been on a downward spiral. Last October, the former celebrity was spotted living on the streets of Los Angeles after she claims to have been homeless since around 2016.
A few years ago, Loni Willison began experimenting with drugs. When she came across crystal meth, she got addicted, and her life began to spiral out of control. She reported that “everything crumbled” because of the drugs, and she lost two jobs at the worst possible point – just when her mental health was going down the toilet.
The former model was photographed begging for change on the streets of LA. She had a carriage with her ragged belongings. She wore a mismatched outfit complete with a red baseball cap. She was seen smoking a cigarette and donning a short haircut and leather fingerless gloves when photographed on the street.
After she was spotted on the streets in October, Loni conducted an interview with The Sun and told the reporter that “I haven’t spoken to Jeremy. I don’t want to speak to my friends. I’m doing just fine. I don’t want anyone to help me.”
When Loni was spotted in October, she was in Venice, California. She was seen sifting through garbage cans behind multi-million-dollar homes in the LA hot spot.
I can live on my own. I’ve got everything I need right here. Nobody really cares about me, and I don’t want to see them. They don’t want to see me. I haven’t got a cell phone. I’ve got food, and I’ve got a place to sleep. I get money here and there, and there’s food in the bins and near the stores. There’s lots here.”
Before her glamorous life came crashing down around her, Loni was a cover girl for the Australian Glam Fit magazine. However, the drug addiction and ensuing mental health struggles have made it very challenging for her to stay on her feet.
Loni’s life fell apart after she could no longer hold a job. When she stopped making rent payments on her apartment, she was evicted and forced to live on the streets. Her fall from grace occurred after her divorce from Jeremy Jackson was finalized in 2014.
“I lost two jobs, and everything crumbled. It’s been two years. I’ve been on the streets since,” she said. “I’d split from Jeremy at that time. I have not had any contact with him. All the s**t that’s happened to me has been so f*****g crazy.”
Previously, Daily Mail contacted a drug rehab expert who offered to help Loni get back on her feet for free. This was drug rehab specialist Larry Marinelli, the owner of True Intentions sober living home and also the co-founder of True Hope Calling, which helps families cope with substance abuse.
Although Marinelli offered to help Loni and gave her a plan to help her battle her addiction, she refused and was back on the street within twenty-four hours.
